The Betrayal of WorkI got about a quarter of the way through this one and Daniel made me stop reading. I just got to emotional. I called him into our room and informed him that we were one paycheck away from eviction (which is obviously not true), and Daniel decided it would be better to pull the plug on this one.
On the other hand, this book highlights the difficulty faced by low-wage workers in our country. It's just such a difficult problem, I don't think raising the minimum wage is the panacea that people think it would be. Still, I don't know what kind of approach is reasonable.
